Apodeixis

Nothing here asserts.
Everything here demonstrates.

ἀπόδειξις — Greek for demonstration. Showing is harder, and more honest, than telling.

Vision

Your mind is not the product.

A lot of software now feeds on the people it serves. It tracks attention, keeps your data somewhere else, and hands judgement to someone else's machine. We think that setup is temporary.

What we are building instead is smaller: instruments that live where you live, answer only to you, and keep no copy of your thoughts anywhere else. There are no accounts on our servers because there are no servers. Nothing to take, nothing to breach.

Our first instrument is a tutor. It won't be the last thing we demonstrate.

Tenets

Held quietly, kept strictly.

The name is the method. Show the reasoning, every step inspectable, including our own.

A server is a liability owed an explanation. The default answer is no, permanently.

Testing means testing. Machine-made output says so on its face. No borrowed authority, in either direction.

One instrument, maintained for years. Anything we ship must be explainable in a paragraph.

The work so far

One instrument: Lumora.

Lumora

A private tutor for people learning alone. It finds the edge of what you know, draws the shortest route, and teaches one concept at a time. On your machine, in your files, under your control.

Currently in free closed testing. Built by Apodeixis.

About the founder

The hand on the instrument.

Portrait of the founder in a dark desaturated treatment

Nikola (Nick) Babic started Apodeixis in Banja Luka in 2026. He got tired of software that wants your attention more than it helps you, so he started building the opposite. No team, no deck. Just the work, which you can check yourself.

The belief, in full: I want software you can finish with, not software you have to keep opening. Tools that run where you run, keep what you make, and work without my server. That is the whole idea. If this company claims something, you should be able to check it.
