privacy
Nothing to breach.
The short version
Apodeixis does not collect personal data. Not because we promise not to, but because there is no mechanism in place that could. This page explains what that means in practice, so you can check it rather than take our word for it. It covers this website and any Apodeixis software you obtain from us.
This website
These pages are static files served by a host. Like any host, it processes the technical data required to deliver a page to you, such as your IP address and user agent, for a limited period. That processing belongs to the host, not to us, and we do not log, store or inspect it.
There is no analytics script, no tracking pixel, no advertising identifier, no cookie set by this site, and no third-party embed. Nothing on these pages phones home.
Our instruments, and the first of them
Our instruments are built to run entirely on your machine. Your study data, notes, session logs and account record are written to disk on your own computer and never leave it.
- No account on our servers. There is no server. Your account is a local record.
- No cloud sync. Nothing is uploaded, so nothing can be subpoenaed or leaked.
- No telemetry. The application sends nothing about how you use it.
- Your keys stay with you. Model access is configured on your machine and stored there.
Our first instrument, Lumora, works exactly this way. One honest exception, stated plainly: if you connect any instrument to a third-party model provider, that provider receives the text you send it in order to answer. That exchange happens between you and them, under their terms, and is the only time your content leaves your computer.
Your control
Because data lives on your disk, deleting it is your decision alone. Uninstalling an instrument and removing its data folder removes everything, permanently, with nothing retained on our side to restore from. We could not hand over your data if asked, because we never had it.
